Linnea Leone Prystie

July 24, 1936 – June 29, 2026

Linnea Leone Prystie, age 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home, Monday, June 29, 2026.

She was born July 24, 1936 to Minnie and Alfred Fisk of Ena Lake.  She was the youngest of 4 children, raised at the fishing camp at Ena Lake, Ontario,

Linnea met Harold at Ena Lake, where he worked on the CNR. They were married September 3, 1955 in Reddit, Ontario.

Linnea is lovingly remembered by her husband, Harold and son Clifford; 8 grandchildren, Justin, Wade, Krista (Matt), Jemini, Kyle, Jake, Jada and Marissa (Jewell); 7 great-grandchildren, Thomas, Jakob, Leo, Issac, Autumn, Lucas and Colby.

Linnea is Predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Minnie; brothers, Cleo and Bob; sister, Rose; son, Alfred; daughter Linda and Grandson Nash.

A Celebration of Life will be held in memory of Linnea, on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street in Transcona, Winnipeg.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Linnea’s memory to SPCA or a charity of ones choosing.
