GAIL RAMONA LAKOTA
1956 - 2026

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Gail Ramona Lakota. Gail passed on July 4, 2026, at the St Boniface hospital. Gail was born August 3, 1956. Gail was born to Florence Prince and Fredrick Leiss.

Gail was predeceased by her parents Florence Prince and Fredrick Leiss, brothers Fredrick Prince (Smiley), Michael Prince, granddaughter Berlin Prince and late husband Karl Lakota.

She is survived by her husband Douglas Bartlett, aunt Edith Langlois, daughter Tamara Prince (Daniel), son Trevor Prince, grandchildren Trista Prince, Kiera Prince (Nathan), Koleton Prince-Contois (Brooke), Jaeli Prince-Kent, Zen-Veda Prince-Kent, Trentyn Prince, Amythest Prince-Sumner, Samatha Prince, Mataya Prince, Katelyn Prince. Great grandchildren Kyre Prince-Swampy, Izeria Prince, Florence Prince, Angelo Prince-Olson, Marcelo Prince, Melody Prince-Charbonneau.

Gail could often be seen playing her favorite Keno numbers, 5,6,7,15,16,17,26, while playing bingo. Gail was referred to as spicey by her daughter and that completely described her. She was known for having a spotless home and she took great pride in this.

We invite you to a celebration of her life on Wednesday July 15, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Cropo Funeral Chappel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the charity of your choice or by performing a good deed in her memory.
