Obituary of PETER RAY PASTUSHENKO
Peter Pastushenko
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and grand father on Tuesday, July 07, 2026.
Peter was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on June 18th, 1957. He spent his whole life in Winnipeg, where he worked as a Journeyman Electrician for 40+ years. Peter was always known as an easy going and caring person who was always eager to lend a helping hand, whether it was electrical or not. No task was too big for Peter.
Peter was predeceased in death by his parents, Stephan and Lydia and his in-laws Stanley and Olive.
Peter is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Shelly; his two sons, Stephan and Jordan (Breanne); his grandson who he adored, Bohden (1); and many cherished in-laws, nieces and nephews.
As per Peter’s request, a private family interment will take place at a later date.
The family would like to thank the first responders and all the staff that cared for Peter during his time spent at St. Boniface Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
