Obituary of ROSEMARIE SEMENIUK
1936 –2026
It is with much sorrow we announce the passing of our mom, grandmother and sister, Rosemarie, on Friday, July 3, 2026.
Rosemarie was predeceased by her husband Walter, brother Stanley Plaza, father Anthony Plaza, mother and stepfather Mary and John Franczak.
Left to forever remember and cherish her memory are her sons Tim Bahry (Adam, Mason) and John Bahry; sister Angela (Stanley) Gren; Niece Lorrie (Paul, Lexa); nephews Jason (Jill) and Ryan (Terri-Lynn, Kyle, Kiera and Kailee).
Rosemarie was a hard worker and loved her family more than life itself. She would do anything for any of us. She could always be counted on to make her delicious pierogies and unforgettable Christmas and Easter dinners. She enjoyed making it an we enjoyed eating it.
Rosemarie loved watching The Young and The Restless – loved to hate Victor Newman. We learned very quickly not to phone between 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. She wasn’t too much into sports but she never missed a Blue Bombers game or any other C.F.L. games on T.V. She even liked watching U.F.C.
Life was hard for Rosemarie the last few years, especially this last year. As much as we hated to see her go, we know that she is now at peace. No more pain, no more suffering.
The family would like to thank River East Home Care and Golden Door Geriatric Centre for the care Rosemarie received.
