Obituary of BETTY PATRICIA HALLER

Betty Patricia Haller

April  10, 1926 - July 4, 2026 

It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Betty, peacefully at the Grace Hospital with her family by her side at the age of 100.  

Betty leaves to mourn her daughter Rachelle (Glenn), and grandchildren Matt and Alanna(Lance), as well as great grandchildren Michelle, Logan and Nathan.  Betty was predeceased by her husband Edward in 1970.

Betty was born in Ethelbert, MB, the youngest of five and later moved to Dauphin, MB to work where she met her husband Ed and together they built and ran the La Verendrye Restaurant.  Betty sold the restaurant a few years after Ed passed and moved to Winnipeg in 1976.  She worked at A & W for a number of years until she retired in 1987.

Betty enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, bingo, bowling and cooking delicious meals for her family.  When she retired, she took care of the grandchildren that she loved so much.  These were some of her best years.  Betty was blessed with good health and a sharp wit that will be missed by all those who knew her.

In keeping with Betty's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
