Zygmunt Dzwonek
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Zygmunt Dzwonek. After a short battle of heart complication, Zygmunt passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at the Health Science Centre.
Zygmunt was predeceased by his first wife, Teresa and leaves to mourn his wife, Nina; his children, Lawrence, Sonia and Tony; his step-son, Marek in Poland and his grandchildren.
Zygmunt was born in Poland and came to Canada in 1963. He had a long career working for a roofing company. He was hard working and reliable.
He and his wife Nina spent a lot of time at their cabin in Traverse Bay. He was a generous host and always enjoyed the company of the friends that came to visit often.
Zygmunt had a caring heart and was always ready to give a helping hand when asked. He was well liked by the Polish community and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him, especially his longtime friend, Marian.
Many thanks to all his friends for their help, especially Andrzej.
The family and friends would also like to extend a special thank you to the medical staff at Health Science Centre for the excellent care they provided for Mr. Dzwonek during his stay at the hospital.
