ROSE DIANE ANNECK It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and companion, Mrs. Rose Anneck. Rose passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 77 years. She will also be missed by her eight grandchildren: Dorian, Nicole, John (Jen), Jennifer (Richmond), Brian (Danielle), Ryan (Trisha), Lacey, and Nickolas; and three great grandchildren Tyler Anneck, Danika Kontusic and Tyson Beaudoin. She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas in 1989, her father Andrew in 1965, mother Stella in 1992, brother Stan in 1969 and brother Ed in 2007. Those who knew Rose loved her for her fun loving spirit. Her creativity and thoughtfulness shone through everything she did as she made sure each person she loved had more than they could have ever hoped for. Rose spent her early years at home raising her children. She was very proud of her grandchildren and loved the idea of having little great-grandchildren in her life. Rose enjoyed bowling, playing cards, camping, gardening and cooking. Mom enjoyed the special times at home when she could have all the family together. Viewing and funeral service will be on Saturday, May 1st at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Cremation to follow. Honorary pallbearers will be; Dorian, John and Brian Anneck, Ryan and Nickolas Kontusic, Henry, Ron & Reuben Nero. The family would like to thank Mom's companion Tony for the countless hours he spent at her side during this trying time, and the GD3 ward staff at the Health Sciences Centre for all the care they gave Mom. Friends who wish, may make a contribution in memory of Rose to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
