ANNIE BARANOWSKI
December 11, 1914 - July 11, 2010
Annie Baranowski (formerly Polischuk, nee Chubaty) passed away peacefully on July 11, 2010 with her daughters by her side.
She was predeceased by her parents Sam & Katie Chubaty, sister Mary Andrushko, brothers Bill, Steve, John & Harry Chubaty, children Kathleen & Walter Polischuk, husbands Paul Polischuk & Walter Baranowski, and her son-in-law Steve Slobodzian.
Annie is survived by her daughters Jean Slobodzian & Elsie Bialkowski (Stan), daughter-in-law Kathy Polischuk, numerous foster children, 11 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Thank you to Doctors, Nurses, Staff and Spiritual Advisor at the Victoria Hospital and a very special thank you to staff and residents at Convalescent Home of Winnipeg where Annie was affectionately known as the "Bingo Queen".
A celebration of Annie's life and Divine Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Parish, 737 Bannerman Avenue, Winnipeg with interment following at the Plankey Plains Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Mass donations or charity donations (of your choice) can be made in Annie's memory.
