With heartfelt sympathy to Jacquie's family; Curt, Brad, and Mrs. Black. She will be remembered as the one in a ring of dancers who was lifted up, flew up off of her feet and soared!

My sincere condolences to Jacquie's family. She was one terrific lady. My father used to live at Lion's Place. Anytime he had a problem he would talk to Jacquie and it would be fixed. One day I received a phone call from my sister telling me that she had just talked to our dad. She was concerned because my dad was slurring his words and she had a hard time understanding him. Well, I quickly got in my car and drove to Lion's Place. I walked in the back door and Jacquie happened to be standing at the front desk. I'm not sure if she could tell by the look on my face but she offered to come upstairs with me. Sure enough, my father had had a stroke. Jacquie was there for me. People may not think that this is beyond the call of duty. To me, it most certainly is.

Jacquie, when I think of you, the word "more" comes to mind...you had more hair than most of us..more house (that was rarely without a friend, neighbor or relative in it)..more affection for animals than most of us..our walks took us more time (because we had to do the "Doolittle" pats and talks to all the creatures thing) on our way.. You had more patience for people..more decorations at "EVERY" season..more food at your annual parties that we all enjoyed so much..I just wish we all had more time with you...I'll remember our walk in the rain (when we were soaked and laughing so hard we were weak) your prince showed up to rescue us from the downpour. We laughed till we cried. Thank you to you and Curt and your devoted mother and brother for "defining" community and good neighbors to us all..Namaste Leigh Ann It is my hope to raise such joyfilled daughters...Your presence blessed us ...
