DORA BLACKBURN
(NEE HUPE)
August 20, 1933-September 9, 2009
Dora passed away peacefully on September 9, 2009 with family at her beside at the age of 76.
She was predeceased by her parents; 2 daughters Lorraine and Nicole; 1 son Donald; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
Dora leaves to cherish her memory, loving husband Jacques; daughters Ren�e (Robert), Jacqueline (Charlie); sons Ricky, Maurice (Pam), Jacques (LiJun); grandchildren (33), great grandchildren (14) of whom she was extremely proud; also remaining are many nieces, nephews and friends.
Dora worked at Eaton's Warehouse where she made numerous friends. She went to monthly coffee parties and enjoyed bowling until her health failed. Dora loved going to Bingo and to the casinos to play the slot machines. She also enjoyed having her hair done and shopping for clothes.
The family wishes to acknowledge the loving care she received from the fourth floor staff at the Victoria General Hospital. We also thank Dr. Permack for the long term care of Dora.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 12 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Eug�ne Roman Catholic Church, 1007 St. Mary's Road. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
