Frank W. Copp
April 11, 1919 - November 19, 2010
Frank is survived by his wife Stephanie (Sylvia), daughter Sandra Eckhardt, granddaughter Cecily Eckhardt of Toronto and son Richard Copp of Edmonton. He is also survived by step sister's Joan Malkiewich of Caldwell NJ, USA, and Louise McElroy of Plymouth MI, USA, nephew Gary (Judy) Krushen of Winnipeg, as well as many nieces and nephews in the USA.
He was predeceased by his parents, stepmother, brother Ted, sisters Nell and Helen and daughter Patricia.
Frank was born in Winnipeg and educated in the North End Elementary and High Schools. He also attended and graduated from Success Business College in Winnipeg. He was employed at Canada Post for over 35 years (1938-1974) as a letter carrier, postal clerk, railway mail clerk, and supervisory postal officer on forward mails division Main Post Office, Winnipeg.
During the war years (December 1941 - December 1944) he served in the Canadian Postal Corps (Army) and in RCAF (Aircrew) as a navigator.
Special thanks to the staff of the Victoria Hospital whose caring hands and kind hearts were great comfort to Frank during his stay.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, November 25, at 1:00PM at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
