Obituary of Mable Creran
Mable Creran
Surrounded by the love of her family, with Diane by her side, Mum peacefully passed away on Sunday April 24th, 2011 at Middlechurch Home.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter and son in law Diane and Ken Jarmuske, her daughter and son-in-law Lynn and Gerry Goodrich, and her adoring grandchildren Corey (Kim) Jarmuske, Christine (Josh) Bashow, Carly (Matthew) Archer, and Kurt Goodrich. GG will be lovingly remembered by her great-granddaughter Rylee Bashow. She is also survived by her brother Frank (Shirley) Philpott, sister-in-law Marion (Brian) Stevens and brother-in-law Bernie (Lorraine) Creran and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mable was predeceased by her loving husband, Theodore (Ted) Creran, in July 2008. They are once again united in love.
Mable was born November 25th, 1930. While working at the T. Eaton Co., Mum met Dad and on May 19th, 1951 they were married. They enjoyed 57 years of marriage surrounded by loving family and friends. Mum was all about her family, she took pride in all of our accomplishments.
Even though she was diminutive in stature, she was a strong and determined woman and she made an impact on all those around her. Her cheery disposition, smile, and friendly hello always brightened the day of anyone she encountered.
The family would like to thank the staff at Kildonan Medical Centre for their years of caring for Mum. Also, the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, and most recently the staff on Unit A2 at Middlechurch Home for the excellent care, compassion, and love Mum received. The family also thanks Lynn for her unending love and care of Mum over the last few years.
If friends or family so desire, donations may be made in Mable's memory to the following charities: Cancer Care Manitoba, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg.
Prayers will be held on Friday April 29th at 7:00pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday April 30th at 11:30 am at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, 3596 Main St.
