Obituary of Ivan DUMAS
IVAN DUMAS
1922 - 2008
Ivan Dumas, beloved husband of Millie Dumas, passed away at Deer Lodge on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at the age of 86 years.
He will be lovingly remembered and missed by wife Millie; his daughter Barbara Hogg, son-in-law Ken Hogg, and grandson Dave Hogg of Calgary, Alberta; his granddaughter Kimberley Hogg of Toronto, Ontario; his sister-in-law Ina Jablonski of Winnipeg; his nephew and godson Dr. Ted Jablonski and his family of Calgary; and his niece, Sister Leanne Jablonski of the Marianist Order of Dayton, Ohio.
The family would like to thank the wonderful Doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre, Riverview Centre, and Deer Lodge Tower Seven, with an extra special thanks to Dr. Waters and Dr. Lamba for the excellent care and attention Dad received.
The family would also like to extend their thanks to Fred Douglas Heritage House and their competent caring staff. Lastly, our tremendous gratitude and thanks for Dad's angel on earth, his caregiver, OJ Boissoneault. Her regular visits to Dad with ongoing feedback to our family on the status of his health and spirits, brightened Dad's days and soothed our souls knowing Dad was being well looked after.
A Mass and Celebration of Ivan's Life will be held at St. John Cantius Church, 846 Burrows Avenue at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2008. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, a memorial donation may be made in Ivan's name directly to the St. John Cantius Church Building Fund or the Community Director, Marianist Sisters, 30 Sawmill Road, Dayton, Ohio, 45409-2522.
