Nancy Anne Dumas
(nee Wiebe)
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Nancy on May 8, 2010.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Arthur, children Gary, Karen (Allan), and Nicole. Also by her mother Anne Kostjuk, brother Jim Wiebe (Sylvia), sister Violet Siemens, brother Brian Wiebe, grandchildren Alex Dumas, Christine Dumas, Cheri-Lynn Dumas, Zachary Dumas, Joseph McLeod, Mikayla McLeod, and by numerous other relatives.
Nancy was predeceased by her father Peter Wiebe and brother Roy Wiebe.
Nancy was born June 14, 1951 in Winkler, MB. She worked at the Winnipeg Clinic for more than 25 years, retiring in 2006 due to health reasons.
Her favorite past times were watching her grandson play hockey, and following his team throughout North America, especially the Las Vegas yearly trip. She enjoyed her bingo at the Central Community Centre, where she actively volunteered for over 20 years.
A visitation will be Friday, May 14, from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel 1442 Main Street. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 15 at 10:00 a.m. also at Cropo Funeral Chapel.
Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Winnipeg Harvest or the Children's Program at the Central Community Centre.
