Obituary of Enzo DURANTE

ENZO DURANTE It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Enzo on July 7, 2009 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 58 years. Enzo is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Carla; daughters Bruna and Cristina; son Adriano; grandsons Evan and Jeremy; sisters Livia and Melissa. He was predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Angiolina and parents-in-law. Enzo was born on February 10, 1951 in Intra, Italy and came to Canada in his late teens. He worked for CN Rail for 27 years, then joined Southside Electric, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Enzo loved to help his family and friends, he was always there when needed. His grandsons were his guiding light. The family would like to thank the staff at CancerCare Manitoba at Health Sciences Centre, Riverview Health Centre and St Boniface for their care and compassion. Special thanks to Dr. M. B. McMillan and Nurse Harriet of the Palliative Care Program. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano officiating. Interment to following St. Boniface Cemetery.
