Obituary of Adrienne FLETT
ADRIENNE FLETT
(nee Olson)
On Thursday, December 10, 2009 Adrienne passed away peacefully with her daughter and granddaughter by her side as Christmas Carols played in the background at Grace Hospital.
She was born on September 4, 1935 in Selkirk, MB to Ernest and Alice Olson. She was predeceased by her parents; sister Betty-Joan; sons William and David.
Adrienne is lovingly remembered by her daughter Karen (Lyle); grandchildren Chelsey, Michael, Aaron, Chris, Peter, Richard and Sean; 2 great grandchildren; brothers Bill, Ray (Venus), Richard (Karen); sisters Bonnie and Karen and many nieces and nephews.
Adrienne spent a couple of years in the army reserve in Shilo, MB.
She worked at Bond and Ronald's Chocolate Factory and at Old Dutch. She then got married to Peter and started a family, where being a mother was most important to her. She spent many years volunteering at Tyndall Park helping to get activities for the kids in the neighbourhood and also making lasting friendships. She truly loved raising her children and later on helped to raise her grandsons.
She spent the last year at Deer Lodge where she enjoyed playing Bingo, reading her paper and flyers, doing puzzles and make crafts.
Thank you to the nurses and doctors at Grace Hospital I.C.U. for the care and compassion of my mother.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
Mom will truly be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Adrienne
