Obituary of Alfred FLETT
ALFRED CHARLES FLETT
MARCH 25, 1939 - AUGUST 24, 2009
After a lengthy illness with diabetes, it is with deep sadness to announce the passing of Alfred Charles Flett at the age of 70 years old at the Seven Oaks Hospital.
He leaves to mourn his wife Rebecca of 43 years, his children Robert (Shannon), Brenda, Jennifer (Steve), brother Stanley, grandchildren Justin (Connie), Michael, Harley, Raven, Faith, Gertie, Brennen, great granddaughter Rayne.
He was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Rodeanne Flett, one son Norman at stillbirth, brothers Jerry, Peter, William and sister Ivaline Jourdain, in-laws Jim and Gertie McKay. He also leaves to mourn numerous nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for the care and compassion of Alfred during his short stay there. We would also like to thank The Chief Peguis Band & Council of Peguis Reserve for their support and all the support from family and friends at this time.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2009, from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. also at the Chapel with Pastor John McKay officiating. Interment will follow at the Brookside Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Randy McKay, Curtis Spence, Paul Jourdain, Justin Flett, Clifford Murdock and Vernon McKay.
