Obituary of Isabel Folster
Isabel Folster (Black Eagle Cloud Woman) Bear Clan
We are sad to announce the passing of Isabel Folster on September 18, 2009 at St. Paul's Hospital in British Columbia, at the age of 79.
Isabel was predeceased by her husband David Folster, son William, and grandson Ron. Also by her parents John Baptiste Samuel Kent and Christina Kent, and brother John Kent, sister-in-law Gladys Kent.
She is survived by her sons Richard, Rev. Stewart (Terry), Gerald, and Kelly (Samantha), sisters Eveline (Richard) and Darlene, grandchildren Naomi, Lisa, Andrea, Jeffrey, Stacy, Christopher, Richard Jr., Crystel (Ian), Ana-Alica, Cheyenne, and Annaleis, as well as 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Isabel always worked for a living; she was a homemaker in Winnipeg and in Vancouver, worked for the fisheries in Selkirk as well as Fresh Water Fisheries in Winnipeg. She also was a part time interpreter for Cree and Ojibwa.
She enjoyed playing guitar and singing and spending time with her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 22, 2009 from 8:00 - 10:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel 1442 Main St. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday September 23, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. also at the Chapel.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Isabel
