Obituary of Teena GUSTO

TEENA GUSTO Nee MORHUN 1919 - 2010 Our family sadly announces the passing of Teena Gusto on October 19, 2010 at the Grace Hospital. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, Michael in 2008 and sisters Anne, Nita and Lillian. Left to cherish her memory are her children Angela (Greg) and Gloria (Denis); grandchildren Glenn, Mark, Sean, Michael and great grandson Donavin. She is also survived by her brother John Morhun; her sister Sonya St. Eloi, and numerous nephews and nieces. Teena spent many hours knitting, crocheting and sewing for her family. She enjoyed reading and keeping up with current affairs. She was happiest when surrounded by her family who she loved dearly. She was a devout Catholic, saying a daily rosary, praying always for the welfare of others. Teena will be remembered for her generous nature, her unique outlook on life and her unwavering faith in the Lord. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the nurses and staff on the 4th floor for their kind support and compassionate care. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, October 25 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Avenue with Rev. Fr. Isidore Dziadyk, OSBM as Celebrant. Interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery.
