Obituary of Mary HRABCZAK

MARY HRABCZAK It is with much love and sadness that our family announces the passing of Mary Hrabczak on October 19, 2008 at her home in Winnipeg, MB. Remaining to forever cherish Mary's memories are her brother Adam Hrabchak and her nieces and nephews; Scott Hrabchak, Bruce Hrabchak, Elaine Iraegui, Russell Hrabchak, Tracey Smith and 6 great nieces and nephews. Mary was born in Rainy River, Ontario on December 24, 1930 and she moved to Winnipeg as a young woman. Although she had no children of her own, she helped to raise us all. She could be depended on by her many friends in her life, and grew from their kindness in many ways. Mary loved to garden & sew. To see her roses on her table surrounded by her fine Ukrainian cross-stitch is a memory to cherish. A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2008 at Cropo Funeral Chapel at 1442 Main Street in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens at 4477 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in her honour to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Cropo Funeral Chapel 586-8044
