Obituary of Josephine Jarowski
JOSEPHINE JAROWSKI
After a brief illness, Josephine Jarowski suddenly passed away on Friday, December 3, 2010 at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 98 years.
Remaining to forever cherish her memory are son Dan; daughters Jean and Helen; grandchildren Maria, Michael and Angela (Jose Varas); great grandchildren Alexandria Levandoski and Natalie Varas; sister Jean Wiens of Ottawa; brothers Eddie Keller of Winnipeg and John Keller of Toronto.
Josephine was predeceased by her husband Anthony; son-in-law Stanley Lastiwka; brothers Walter, Stanley, Louie and Dan; sisters Lucy and Rose.
Josephine was born on August 13, 1912 in the Silver Creek Municipality of Manitoba. She married Anthony in June 7, 1936 at St. Joseph's Church, Russell, Manitoba. Josephine will be remembered for her hospitality and pleasant nature.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Grant Goldberg and the staff of Mount Carmel Clinic. Also to the Home Care professionals for their compassionate care over the last several years.
Prayers will be said on Thursday, December 9 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 10 at 11:00 a.m. also at the Chapel. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Josephine's memory to a charity of your choice.
