Obituary of Harry Kruszelnicki
Harry Kruszelnicki
January 2, 1930- April 24, 2011
On Sunday, April 24, 2011, Harry Kruszelnicki passed away suddenly at his home at 81 years of age.
He is survived by his sister Lillian, his brother Peter of Victoria, BC, as well as four nephews and one niece.
He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Walter, sisters-in-law Nellie and Gerri and his brother-in-law Leonard.
Harry was born and grew up in Narol, Manitoba and with his family moved to East St. Paul in 1945, where they were one of the early residents of Hoddinott Road. Together with his dad, he helped clear the land and set up a market garden on which he toiled until a few years ago when illness prevented him from doing so. He was a devoted son to his parents and was their sole caregiver until their passing. He led a simple life and was happy with what he had. His claim to fame was having a picture of himself with some prized potatoes in the T &T seed catalogue for a few years.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, 6297 Henderson Hwy., Gonor, Manitoba. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. May he rest in peace.
