Obituary of Isabel MANSELL

ISABEL DOROTHY "ARMITAGE" MANSELL With deepest sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Sister, Daughter, and Friend to all who knew her, Isabel Mansell on Saturday, August 8, 2009. Isabel will be missed and lovingly remembered by her two sons, David McDonald and family of Ontario, Tony and Rose Lynne Mansell of Winnipeg; her grandchildren Lance and Cherrena. She was predeceased by her parents and brother of Ontario. Isabel was born in Belleville, Hasting, Ontario, when she was 30 she moved to Quebec, where she met Harold Mansell. In 1963 they welcomed a son, Anthony. In 1966 they moved to Winnipeg. Sadness came in 1979 with the passing of Harold Mansell. Isabel worked as a Foster Parent for C.A.S. for over 25 years, caring and loving all her children. Isabel sent time by reading, watching movies, crossword puzzles and spending time caring for her cats. We would like to thank her best friend Bea, a special thank you to her for everything she did for Isabel. "From our hearts we thank you ", Tony and Isabel. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Isabel's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
