Obituary of Anna MARCYNIUK
ANNA MARCYNIUK
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother and Babcha at her home on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at the age of 82 years.
Her memory will be cherished by her sons Robert (Kathy), Peter (Kim), Ken (Wendy) and grandchildren Jordan, Justin, Arrie, Halle, Liza and Loren; great granddaughter Nyla and special friend Wally.
Anna was predeceased by her husband Phillip; sister Christine and grandson Matthew.
Anna was born on July 11, 1926 in Podolin, Poland and immigrated to Winnipeg in 1959 (Point Douglas). Along with raising her 3 sons, she worked at Sears, family services and VON. Anna will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was generous in heart and spirit and spent much of her time caring for others. She was strong in faith and an active member of Holy Ghost Church. She spent her final days in the comfort of her own home living independently even with the limitations of her recent traffic accident.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 4 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue with an Oblate Father as Celebrant. Interment to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert March, Peter Marcyniuk, Ken March, Jordan March, Chuck Langford, Bernie Kulczycki. Honorary Pallbearer will be Justin March. An online book of condolences may be signed at www.cropo.com.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anna's memory to a charity of your choice.
"Wieczny odpoczynek racz jej dac Panie."
