Maddy was born in 1950 at the Carman Hospital , she was the 2nd youngest of 12 children. Maddy started working in the restaurant business in her late teens, this is where she would meet the love of her life, John. Maddy and John would start a family and Peter was born August 6, 1970, he was the light of her life. Maddy loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and auntie. She enjoyed spending time with the family on holidays and camping trips. Maddy would re-enter the workforce full time in 1980 where she worked in the housekeeping dept. at St. Joseph's Residence. In 1986 she joined John at Winnipeg Prosthetics and Orthotics where she worked as receptionist/bookkeeper. In 1993 Peter married Janice, soon Marko was born in 1995 and Madison in 1997. It was at this time that Maddy became a full time stay-at -home grandma which she thoroughly enjoyed. Maddy loved to travel, she enjoyed their trips to visit family in Windsor but most importantly she loved her yearly trips with John and took great joy in haggling with the vendors on the beach!

"You were always there when we needed you" No task too great or small With a loving heart and a willing hand For us you did them all.
Thanks for the years you gave us, And for the precious times we shared, We only pray when you left us You knew how much we cared.
God saw you getting tired. When a cure was not to be, He put His arms around you and said, "Come unto Me."
