Stella Martin
On Wednesday, September 15, 2010, with her family by her side, Stella Martin peacefully passed away at 89 years of age. She was surrounded by the love and laughs of her children and her grandson, David, throughout her final days.
She was predeceased by her parents, Melanie and William Kisyk, her husband, John Martin, her sisters, Anne and Olga, and her brother, Russell.
Stella will be dearly missed by her children, Lorraine, Pat (Bill), Ken (Yvette), her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Kevin (Wendy) and Michael and Chelsey, Todd (Carole) and Brandon and Mason, Dean ( Debra) and Brianne and Austin, David (Paulette) and Brittanie Kucey, Deanna and Chadd and Danielle Henderson, and St�phane (Jacqueline), Daniel (Andrea) and Janelle and Luc Landry. She will also be missed by her sister-in-law, Elsie Kisyk, Gaëtan, Mike, and Paul Poulin, as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their wholehearted gratitude and appreciation for the compassionate and exceptional care that was given to Stella by all the loving staff at Concordia Place.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, September 18 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Munroe Ave. and Watt St.
In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, donations, in her memory, may be made to the Humane Society, Alzheimer's Society, or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
