Obituary of Arnold MCAULEY

ARNOLD JOSEPH MCAULEY March 14, 1949 - August 2, 2010 Sadly, Arnold Joseph McAuley passed away in his home in the loving embrace of his three children after a brief battle with cancer. He was surrounded by loving family when he passed. Arnold was predeceased by his first wife, Linda, and his parents Angus and Doris. Arnold is survived by his three children, Carrie, Sheryl, and A-Jay, his second wife, Carol with whom he had a special relationship, his three grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, and Brandyn, along with his six siblings, Lorraine (Vernie), Sadie (John), Russell (Grace), Casey (Jackie), Catherine (Jack) and Ray, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Arnold will be remembered for being a strong hearted, dedicated, loving man who took great pride in his work, and in his artistic endeavors. Much of his artwork is displayed and cherished throughout the community. He had a strong love for the outdoors and being one with nature and the company of family with laughter and cherished moments. In respecting Arnold's wishes, there will be no formal service, but a Gathering will be held on Sunday, August 8, at 1:00 p.m. at the Northwood Community Club, 1415 Burrows Avenue.
