Obituary of Christopher McCaffrey

Christopher Duncan McCaffrey It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Chris, our beloved husband, brother, uncle, and father at the Health Sciences Center on Friday, December 11, 2009. He was born on September 26, 1964 in Winnipeg Manitoba. Chris will be remembered by his wife Lisa, daughter Marie, son Floyd. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters Wayne (Suzanne), Marlene (Keith), Cynthia (Gord), Thomas (Sheila), Harry (Kimberly), Phillip (Kelly), as well as many nieces, nephews, and many friends. Chris was predeceased by his mother Phyllis, father Floyd, sister in law Karen, brother in law Ted, and niece Linda. Chris had many challenges in life, but faced them with courage and determination. Chris was a quiet, gentle soul, who was always happy to lend a helping hand. He loved to fish, cook, and took pride in the things he did. For over 20 years he has donated his time to the Teddy Bear's Picnic. His pride and joy was his daughter Marie, and she put a special sparkle in his eye. If you were lucky enough to have Chris in your life, you were very fortunate. We were truly blessed to have you in our life Chris, and you will always be in our hearts. A Celebration of Chris's Life will be held on Saturday, December 19 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Inkster.
