STELLA McWILLIAMS
Unexpectedly on September 18, 2009, Stella McWilliams passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital with her daughter Pat and granddaughter Shauna at her side.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Pat Oleksuk and son John, grandchildren Shauna (Jason), Trevor (Kirsty), David (Pam) and Lauren (Brent) and beloved great grandchildren Dagney, Claudia and little Jayce with his sticky hands, slobbery kisses and big hugs and sister Ruby Pankiw as well as many nieces, nephews and special friend Maureen Sutton.
Stella has now joined her husband Jack, beloved granddaughter Tracy, son-in-law Douglas and daughter-in-law Denise, siblings Rose, Mary, Bill and Wally.
Mom's greatest joy was her family. She was an enthusiastic and talented crafter. Her beautiful needlepoint and petit point pictures hang in many family and friends homes. Her hands were never idle. All special occasions at Kildonan Personal Care Home saw Stella making crafts for all staff and residents of the third floor. Mom's afghans and baby blankets were made and given with joy and love.
Mom, Grandma, you were always there when we needed you. No task was too great or small and done with a loving and willing hand. For us you did them all. Thanks for the years you gave us and for the precious times we shared. We only pray when you left us you knew how much we cared.
The family would like to thank the caring staff on the third floor at the Kildonan Personal Care Home for their hugs and support, especially Allan and Linda and the staff of Seven Oaks Dialysis Unit under the caring hand of Dr. Armstrong.
A celebration of mom's life will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Charlette Novak officiating.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Stella
