Obituary of Elmer PAGEE
ELMER VICTOR PAGEE
February 6, 1934 - April 4, 2009
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our father, grandfather, and friend at the Riverview Health Centre.
He was predeceased by his wife Alice; father Victor; mother Elizabeth; brothers Raymond and Emil.
He leaves to mourn his sons David, Jerry, Randy, Michael; daughter Roseanne; stepdaughter Sherry; grandchildren Chantel, Chelsea, Chad, Lynn, Jocelyn; great grandson Carter; brothers Eugene, Ken, Leonard, Herbie; sisters Myrtle and Yvonne.
Tough life for a tough man. Elmer was well respected by those who knew him. Strong willed and a zest for life. Elmer loved to laugh and tease, all in fun! A good cold beer and a smoke slowly turned into a good bowl of soup and a quiet nap with the grandkids. You had to be quick witted when around Dad or you were the butt of the joke. His passion was horses and boxing, and he watched both with great intense. One man's junk is another man's treasure! Well!! Dad had a lot of treasures! Not a well-educated man he would often be called upon for projects because of his skill, knowledge and experience. A man raised by old school values and he remained true to his word. He will be missed greatly by family and friends.
Special thanks to the staff at Riverview and Grace Hospital for their care and dedication.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 18 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin Street.
Keep your eye open Dad and we'll see ya sometime. Love your family
