Jean- �mile Paill� C'est avec profonde tristesse que nous annon�ons le d�c�s soudain de notre cher mari, Papa et grand-p�re, le 12 avril 2010. Il laisse dans le deuil son �pouse de 57 ans H�l�ne, ses enfants Albert (Jacinthe), Monique, Ren� (Brigitte), Louise (Ken Young), Denise (Charles Jones), Gilles (Ginette), Gis�le (Bernard DesAutels), Maurice (Julie), ses petits-enfants Natalie, Robert, Justin, Chantal, Daniel, Michael, St�phanie, Lisa, Steven, Miguel, Janelle, Paul, �lise, Christine, Mathieu, Joëlle, M�lanie, Kathryne, Samuel, Martin, Miriam, et ses arri�res petits- enfants, Alex, Maya et Liam. Il laisse aussi deux sÃ…“urs Jeannine et Georgette (Andr� Nantel) et un fr�re Maurice (Amelia). Jean-�mile est n� � LaSalle au Manitoba le 10 ao�t 1925. Soldat avec le 22e R�giment, il a bien servi le Canada durant la 2e Grande Guerre. Il a aussi vaillamment combattu durant la Guerre de Kor�e où il a atteint le rang de sergent avec 2 PPCLI. De retour au Canada, il a travaill� pendant 32 ans pour Postes Canada et apr�s sa retraite en 1984, il a joui de ses �t�s � Saint-Malo et de nombreuses rencontres de famille. Jean-�mile �tait l'homme le plus heureux au sein de sa famille dont il �tait tr�s fier. De nature g�n�reuse et patiente, il se d�vouait enti�rement et d'un amour sans pareil aux soins de sa �pouse bien-aim�e durant ces derni�res ann�es. Papa nous accueillait les bras ouverts, toujours pr�t � pr�ter l'oreille. Son plus grand plaisir �tait de partager les r�coltes de son jardin. Les pri�res seront � 19h00 jeudi soir au salon mortuaire Fun�raire Cropo, 1442 rue Main. La messe de la R�surrection aura lieu � l'�glise Sainte-Famille, 778, rue Archibald, le vendredi 16 avril � 10h00 with Rev. P�re Ronald L�ger, c.s.v. Inhumation aura lieu au cimeti�re Green Acres. Jean �mile Paill� It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jean-�mile, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, on April 12, 2010. Jean-�mile is survived by his wife of 57 years H�l�ne whom he lovingly and unselfishly cared for these past few years, his children Albert (Jacinthe), Monique, Ren� (Brigitte), Louise (Ken Young), Denise (Charles Jones), Gilles (Ginette), Gis�le (Bernard DesAutels), Maurice (Julie), his grand-children Natalie, Robert, Justin, Chantal, Daniel, Michael, St�phanie, Lisa, Steven, Miguel, Janelle, Paul, �lise, Christine, Mathieu, Joëlle, M�lanie, Kathryne, Samuel, Martin, Miriam, and his great grand-children, Alex, Maya and Liam. He leaves behind two sisters, Jeannine and Georgette (Andr� Nantel) and a brother Maurice (Amelia). Jean-�mile was born in LaSalle, Manitoba on August 10, 1925. He served with the 22nd regiment (Vandoos) during the Second World War. He bravely fought during the Korean War as a sergeant with 2 PPCLI. Upon his return, he worked for Canada Post for 32 years and after his retirement in 1984, he spent many happy summers in St. Malo. Jean-�mile was happiest among his family whom he cherished. He was the pillar of strength, always putting others before self. A gentle, caring, generous man, he listened intently and always provided sound advice. An avid gardener, he loved sharing his bounty as we seldom left his company empty-handed. Prayers will be held on Thursday, April 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church, 778 Archibald St., on Friday April 16, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Ron Leger, c.s.v. with interment at Green Acres Memorial Gardens to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
