Rest in peace Elgin. I will miss you dearly. I will never forget all those summer days when you sat on the front steps watching the neighborhood. When I came to pick up Mary Anne there you were sitting on the steps. As we both know Mary Anne takes forever to get ready so we both just sat there and you shared many of your stories with me. I remember you telling my about your truck driving days and how good of a driver you were. I will miss those stories and your love for conversation. May you shine down on your family and keep them safe. I love ya. My deepest sympathies to the Presley family. He will be watching over you all and his spirit will be strong. My favorite memory of Elgin was his surprise trip out to the farm at Plumas! He now will have no more pain and no ringing with his hearing aide. He will live on in his children and grandchildren and never will be forgotten!! Memories to cherish both good and bad-- which life is all about.
