Obituary of Gilda REIS

GILDA REIS Peacefully on December 13, 2008, Gilda, passed away at Fred Douglas Lodge at the age of 87. Gilda is survived by her children Maria (Jaime) Lopes, Jose (Venilde) Reis, Teresa (Gilberto) Viveiros, Jo�o (Laura) Reis, Margarida (Julio) Pineda, Raul (Ruth) Reis, Antero (Rosa) Reis, Quim (Judite) Reis and Oliver Reis; 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Jose; parents Jo�o Barreira and Luisa Oliveira. Gilda was born in Santa Barbara, S�o Miguel, Azores, Portugal and immigrated to Winnipeg in 1975. Her family was her life. Prayers will be said on Monday, December 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin Street N. with Very Rev. Fr. Jos� Eduardo Medeiros, V.F. as Celebrant. Interment to follow in Assumption Cemetery. Cropo Funeral Chapel 586-8044
