Obituary of Anne Roik

Anne Roik Anne Roik, aged 93 years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at the Maples Personal Care Home. Anne was born in Lledwyn Manitoba on July 12, 1915, the seventh of eight children. After leaving the family home, Anne moved to Winnipeg where she met and married her husband Steve, and raised her family. She is survived by her sons; Stephen and partner Alison MacAngus, and James and wife Judith; granddaughter Anna Gillian; brother Steve; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband Steve, her parents, her brothers and sisters Margaret, Mary, Peter, William, Michael and John, and grandson Richard. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 26 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Deacon Gordon Mendres officiating. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery.
