Obituary of David Saxton
David Saxton
Aug. 22, 1974 - Nov. 7, 2010
With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved David Michael St. John Saxton on Sunday, Nov 7, 2010.
David is lovingly remembered by his parents Joan and Mike, sisters Heather (Darryl) and Carolyn (Tyler), his Nanny Maryon, nephew Noah and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
David grew up in Winnipeg and attended schools in Fort Garry, St. Paul's High School and the University of Winnipeg Collegiate. He received a B.A. from the University of Winnipeg and a M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Manitoba. He will be fondly remembered for his kind and compassionate spirit, by his love of music, his keen sense of humour, an enthusiasm for science fiction and his extensive general knowledge including, among other things a strong interest in American politics.
We will all greatly miss our dear David, but look forward to the time when we will see him again in the next world.
A graveside service for family and close family friends will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 12 at St. Clements Cemetery located at 6159 Highway 9A just south of Selkirk, Mb. Reception to follow.
Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.cropo.com. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of David to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation.
