Obituary of Walter SCHWARZ
WALTER SCHWARZ
It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Walter Schwarz at the age of 54, on 21 September 2009 in Germany, and has been brought home to Winnipeg.
Walter was born in Muzla, Yugoslavia, and came to Canada with his mother Viktoria and brother Joseph in 1972. Walter loved the simple things in life like fishing, reading and music. He had a talent for languages and could speak, read and write fluent English, Hungarian, Serbian, Russian and German. He spent the last years of his life in Germany with his girlfriend Nina. Beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many people.
He is survived by his mother Viktoria, brother Joseph, nephew Joey (Kristen) and his great nephew and niece Lexus and Brayden. He will be greatly missed by his aunties, uncle, cousins and friends.
Friends and family are invited to Prayers that will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel on 1442 Main St. at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, 28 September 2009. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony Padua Church on 365 Burnell St. at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 29 September 2009.
