Obituary of Stephanie Shkrumeda

Stephanie Shkrumeda (nee Hladki) Peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital on Monday, January 18, 2010 Stephanie Shkrumeda passed away at the age of 97 years. She was predeceased by her husband George in January 2000, parents Fred and Antonia Hladki, brother Zanko and sister Olga Hladki. She is survived by her sister-in-law Olga Hladki, niece Sandra, nephew Gordon and their families, and aunt Olga Memrick. Stephanie was born in Winnipeg on November 22, 1912 and married George in 1937. Together they operated a mink ranch for 65 years. Cremation has taken place. A private interment will follow at a later date, as requested by Stephanie.
