Obituary of Joan Wasny

JOAN WASNY (December 3, 1927 - October 11, 2008) Peacefully on Saturday, October 11, 2008, Joan passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital. Joan was predeceased by her parents, John and Pauline Wasny, her brothers, Walter, Stanley, Frank, and by her sisters, Frances and Mary. She is survived by her brothers Charlie, Joe (Valerie), Casmir (Dorothy), sisters, Helen and Pauline, sisters-in-law, Olga and Darlene. Joan was born and raised in Cooks Creek, Manitoba. She later moved to Winnipeg where she was a proud and dedicated employee of the T. Eaton Company for many years until her retirement. Joan was devoted to her family. Her happiest times were when she was with her brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg.
