Obituary of Darcy WEAVER
DARCY DWAYNE WEAVER
July 28, 1976 - March 18, 2010
With the love of his family surrounding him, Darcy Dwayne Weaver passed away peacefully after a long, courageous battle with cancer at the age of 33.
Darcy leaves to mourn his passing, his mother Lynn Recunyk, father Albert Weaver, brother Tyler (Danielle), grandfather Hoss, his two nephews Jonathan and James, his half brother Justin, half sister Samantha as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Darcy was predeceased by his baba Olga, grandfather Paul, his aunts Diane and Janie, his uncles Leonard and Clifford and his cousin Kim.
Darcy will be sadly missed by all who knew him, but always remembered for his caring, compassionate and enthusiastic nature.
A sincere thank you goes out to his dear friends Ron and Scott for their continued support during the past months, also many thanks to Dr Maksymiuk of CancerCare Manitoba, and all of the caring doctors and nurses on the Palliative care unit at St. Boniface Hospital.
In accordance with Darcy's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Darcy's life will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. with a luncheon to follow.
Flowers are gratefully declined, but those who would like to make a donation in Darcy's honor should do so to CancerCare Manitoba at (204) 787-4143 care of Pancreatic Cancer.
