My name is Al Kehler, at 14 Ashton Ave. We started our married life on Ashton, and slowly got to know the street, including Joe. I was always deeply envious of Joe’s impeccable lawn! He was a good neighbour. We lost touch as we moved overseas in 1998, then returned in 2012. I will miss his smile, and of course his lawn. I enjoyed reading his story. May God be with you in these days.
