Jim grew up in River Heights and attended St. Ignatius, St. John Brebeuf and Kelvin High School. Jim had a passion for Winnipeg Transit and ran an unofficial website for many years. Jim worked at the Federal Department of Agriculture for a number of years and later enjoyed volunteer work at the Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service was held at Cropo Funeral Chapel. In keeping with Jim’s wishes he will be buried alongside his maternal Baba Jessie at Holy Ghost Cemetery. Donations in Jim’s memory may be made to the Mood Disorder Association of Manitoba.
