We extend our heartfelt sympathies to the family of Olga Pawlychyn.
Norris remembers Olga from his childhood days growing up in the Fish Lake area of Chatfield, Manitoba. Both families lived on a farm with short distances from each other and visited back and forth.
He remembers his parents playing cards with Olga and her husband, John, after the two families moved into the town of Chatfield. Later, when both families moved again, to Winnipeg, they still kept in touch.
There was a time when Norris and I needed a babysitter, on very short notice, in the early 1960's and contacted Olga. She so willingly offered to help. Norris and I were happy to be invited to help celebrate Olga's 100th birthday. Olga being of sociable nature, enjoyed the evening and the visiting with family and friends that attended this very special event. Olga was born in the Fish Lake area of Chatfield as was Norris' mother and his Uncle Dan Holowka. His Uncle Dan had related that there were at least four friends from childhood days that grew up in the area and lived to be nearing 100 years or longer. Olga is a good example. His Uncle Dan attributed their longevity to drinking the pure artesian well water that was available in the Chatfield, Fish Lake area. Rest in Peace dear friend. Vichnaya PamYat
Respectfully submitted by Norris and Jennie Pawlychka

Our deepest sympathy to Aunty Olga's family. We have many fond memories of her and her family. There were many visits to my grandma and grandpa's farm (Kay and Mike Pawlychyn) in Chatfield. When they came from Winnipeg my grandma would have a special dinner waiting for them. Later on when Mary ( my mom) moved to Winnipeg, they would keep in touch with phone calls and meeting at the family breakfasts which were arranged at a local hotel. Aunty Olga lived a good full long life filled with many adventures. Thinking of her family today. Sincerely, Mary Ptashynski, Judy and Noel Cheguis, Bernadine and Charles Kostyk, and Scott Cheguis

Our deepest condolences to the family of Olga Pawlychyn. She leaves as the last family member of her generation on my Dad's side of our family. (Mike Pawlychyn). My most recent memorial times were the brunch gathering times we've had with Auntie Olga and families during the last approx 8-10 years. As I moved away from Manitoba some 50 years ago, this was so special to have a short visit with all that were able to attended. We were able to celebrate her 100th Birthday before Covid restrictions began. May the caring thoughts of those who love you, comfort you at this time of sorrow. Virtual hugs to everyone. Love and prayers,
Kathy & Ross Kidd
