I confess that I never met Frances but I am grateful for her kindness. Over a period of several years, she assisted the Manitoba Historical Society in identifying people who should be added to our Memorable Manitobans online collection of short biographies of noteworthy people who had passed. Each week, I would receive several submissions from Frances, often about people from Winnipeg's arts community, who I would not have recognized without her help.
