DIANNE LYNNE CHODY

(nee Rumak)

April 4, 1948 – May 14, 2023

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Dianne Lynne Chody, on May 14, 2023.  The fact that she took her last breath on Mother’s Day does not go unnoticed, as she was truly the best mother to her two children, Lisa (Mark) and Curtis (Jill).  She also leaves behind five grandchildren whom she cherished:  Corban, Garnet, Porter, Lucas, and Kyla.  She was predeceased by her husband Richard in 2014.

Dianne also leaves behind many other family members and friends.  She was a beautiful person inside and out and she radiated warmth and kindness.  She also had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. Words cannot express how much we will miss her smiling face and the sound of her laughter.

According to Dianne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 204-982-2021.
