Obituary of VINCENT JAMES PETRACHEK

VINCENT JAMES PETRACHEK 
JANUARY 22, 1934 – MAY 17, 2023

Vincent passed away peacefully on May 17, 2023 at the age of 89 years at St. Joseph’s nursing home.

He was predeceased by his parents Anna Schala and Frank Petrachek, as well as all of his siblings.

Vincent was a faithful member of St. Ignatius Church and also a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus.

He worked at Gainers for 39 years. He was a season ticket holder for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for over 50 years. He was also a ticket holder for the first Winnipeg Jets franchise.

He leaves behind many nieces and nephews and friends to remember him and will be sorely missed.

Funeral service to take place at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 10:00 am.
