Obituary of ELIZABETH “LILA” WHITE

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Elizabeth “Lila” White who passed away on February 21, 2024 at 83 years old.

She is survived by her son Geoff (Alana) and their children Erin and Kieran. Her son Ian (Judy). Her son-in-law Robert Lyons (Karen) and his children Tyler and Keely and her great granddaughter baby Logan.

Lila was predeceased by her husband Noel in 2021 and her beautiful daughter Jacqueline Anne Lyons in 2003 who she missed dearly.

Lila was born in Northern Ireland in 1940 and immigrated to Canada with her family in 1973. In 1975 she began working at the law office of David George and Associates. Her daughter Jackie would later join her there and they worked together until Jackie’s passing. Lila loved her job and would spend 30 years there until she retired in 2005. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting and spoiling all of her grandchildren.

In accordance with Lila’s wishes there will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers the family would ask that you make a donation to a charity of your choice in Lila’s name.
