It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Ted Barylski on Wednesday February 28th 2024, at the age of 82 with family by his side. Ted fought a lengthy battle with Lewy Body dementia.

Ted will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his 3 daughters Sheena Barylski (Jason Scott), Ramona (Rob) Hutchison, Shannon (Randy) Chubaty, grandchildren; Liam, Taytum, Marley, Max and numerous brothers, sisters and extended family.

In his early 20’s, Ted started his lifelong career working at Via Rail where he held multiple positions that gave him the opportunity to travel across Canada. After 30 plus years, Ted retired as a service coordinator in 1995 at the age of 54.

Ted will be remembered for his many adventurous and creative passions including hunting, fishing, soapstone carving, wine making, singing and playing instruments. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the team at the Lions Manor personal care home second floor for their compassion and care. Dad could not say enough about how comfortable the team made it for him. You are all so special, and our family is very grateful for the wonderful work you do.
