A friend, even after years and so much distance, when I saw you again at my brother’s house, you were still the kindhearted wonderful person I knew. You will be dearly missed my friend. Lots of love Coralie

Hey, brother. The oddest things were happening before you left. Well, not odd but a few days before, I taught my 2 sons our handshake we made up because we were throwing around the football. The night it happened, I decided to start writing screenplays again, and right around the time that coward did that to you, I was in my house 3 hours away remembering how much we laughed talking about a screenplay about 2 old school guys that had no idea what was going on these days. When I woke up, I had a text from Jasmine telling me what happened. Throughout the day I got phone calls and texts from people asking if I had heard. I miss you, brother. I really do. I'm so numb to death now, but your death hit me pretty hard. I had a rough couple of days remembering that booming laugh. Remembering how happy we were to run into each other. Remembering the couple of months that you lived with me. So many damn good memories. I really hope people don't remember the mistakes you made, but remember how big of a heart you had and how much you tried to help others even when you were down and out. You had an amazing heart!! A heart as big as you and me put together. You were such a proud, proud father, too. I love you, I miss you, and I'm never going to forget the 30 years of friendship we had. I'm glad that every time we said goodbye, even it was just to run to the store that we told each other we loved each other. The world truly lost a good one. I miss you, and I love you Big Eddy.

Please accept my condolences Leslie and Lorris on the tragic passing of Eddie. I pray that you find comfort in the Word of God.
I remember Leslie visiting us (uncle Kenneth) in Subryanville to show us his first born, a baby in his arms at the time.
May Eddie's soul rest in peace.
