I went to elementary school at Champlain with Carole and also through grades 7 - 12 at St.John’s. I know she was very involved with the reunions, etc. and was trying to organize the 100th at Champlain, which was cancelled due to Covid.
Carole was a very nice person.

In the Mournful Rain
for Carole Kurdydyk
When we read the sudden news
Raindrops on the roses
Became more like teardrops
In this time of the comfort of flowers
We remember Carole
At the Symphony, the theatre…
At Shakespeare she preferred
Everything out of the ordinary
(Because haven’t you seen it by the book?)
We did not argue
She was wise and she made us wiser
Now we mourn her in the rain
-from friends Ron and Liliana Romanowski

I will always remember the fun we had. I will miss you so much and especially all your help you so willing gave in all our church related adventures. You are an irreplaceable, one of a kind true friend. My hope is that you have finally found some peace in your eternal resting place, after your long and difficult journey. You were a trooper and gave it your all, right to the end. Be strong, Paul, Kristen and Robert and know that we will always cherish Carole's friendship. Paul and I send our sympathies to your family at this very sad time.
Hugs,
Linda and Paul Putnam

Terrible news, shocked to hear. Sending love and sympathies from our family to Paul, Robert, Kristen, Linda, and John. Carole was always kind, courteous, and pleasant to interact with. I would randomly run into her while working downtown and she always made time to have a tech talk/chat and catch me up on family matters. Big thanks too for taking care of the "aunties". No lasting effects (I think?) from when she babysat me and dropped me on my head!
