My heart goes out to all of you. He was an amazing man. Someone who made me proud to share his last name. I always thought he was one of the coolest guys around. He was a very good friend of my dad, and I know right now they are probably getting into trouble and laughing. .
I was so fortunate to see him on June 12. Something made me do a drop-in visit. It was such a wonderful time spent with Lloyd and Zenova. I will cherish that memory.
Thinking of you today. May you be flooded with many great memories of Lloyd.

To Aunty Zenova and the entire family.
We are so very sad to hear about Uncle Lloyd. To say he was ‘one of a kind’ is an understatement. Loving, funny, warm, witty, genuine … the list goes on and on. Always wanting to chat a catch up. That big bear hug he always gave when you saw him. We will miss all his wonderful, endearing qualities.

On behalf of my parents Sam and Ella Gowriluk, both deceased, and myself, I would like to extend sincere condolences to Zenova and family on the passing of Lloyd. My parents often spoke very proudly and fondly of Lloyd and Zenova over the many years that they knew each other. I believe their friendship started through business contacts as Midland Fruit served the Bissett and Great Falls areas. They soon became friends. Proud of their Ukrainian heritage, there were many wonderful visits and special occasions they enjoyed together.
Lloyd’s business and personal endeavours he lovingly accomplished in his life will live on as a reminder of what a kind person he was.

I grew up going to Shindruk's store and loved to hear Lloyd's happy whistling any time you walked into the store. I always wished I could bottle that whistle and bring it home.
